REGISTRATION ARTS & CRAFTS/FOOD VENDORS
For a day, we invite you to step back in time to the Great Depression Era of the 1920s & 30s. A time when folks had to "use it up, wear it out, make do or do without"!
The town of Hartshorne is proud to announce its 9th annual Hard Times Festival to be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 - Hartshorne’s Main Street. Located 12 miles East of McAlester and 16 miles West of Wilburton. The event is sponsored by the Hard Times Festival Committee - Chairman, Jerry Earp.
The registration fee is 10% of total earnings for the day. Commissions will be collected at the end of the day. All merchandise is subject to Oklahoma Tax. The spaces will be pre-assigned and the assigned space will be confirmed by letter after application is received. Spaces are limited to first come first basis so early applications are advised. Registration forms should be received no later than October 1, 2010. Contact Jerry Earp at 918-297-3651 for forms or information. Vendors must also provide a copy of their OK Sales Tax Certificate, a copy of food handlers license and a photo of your booth.
Electricity is VERY limited and will be provided on a first-come basis so we ask that, if needed, you provide generators as an alternate means of power. Remember--these are "hard times".
Booth spaces will be attended from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9th. Set-up will be available beginning at 7:30 a.m. Any vendor not arriving by 9:00 a.m. will forfeit their space. We do ask that each participant join in our celebration by dressing in period clothing, however, this is NOT a requirement.
ONLY QUALITY HAND MADE MERCHANDISE WILL BE ACCEPTED! Flea Market Items will be REJECTED!
